Four things that make a finishing quote accurate

  • Name the spec"Zinc plated" gets five different prices. "ASTM B633 Fe/Zn 8 Type II" gets one.
  • Give size or areaShops price by how many parts fit a rack or barrel. Overall size and weight is enough.
  • Mark the maskingCircle threads, bores and ground points that must stay bare on the drawing.
  • State the hardnessSteel over 39 HRC needs a hydrogen relief bake after plating. Say so up front.

    We check the finish, spec and part size. If something is missing we ask before we match.

  2. We match up to 3 shops

    Only shops that run your process, hold the spec and have a tank or line that fits the part.

  3. Shops quote you directly

    You compare quotes and send parts to the shop you choose. Nothing passes through us.

Finishing is usually done near where the parts are made. We match within this region when a good fit exists.
